Ride Schedule
LOCATION: Ride will take place in the Tower Mountain Area. The parking for this area is on HWY40 heading east out of Heber. There are many parking areas that are marked with a brown and white trail head sign. Strawberry Visitor Center, Strawberry River parking, and Chicken Creek / Co-Op. Parking. Parking is limited at the Co-Op, so if you can park at one of the other parking areas it might be a good idea.
Those that need a guide will need to park or sled over to the Chicken Creek / Co-Op parking lot. The trail head is marked with brown and white trail head sign. The trail head is on the left side of the road, located past Daniel’s Summit Lodge and Strawberry Visitor Parking, but is before the Ladders parking lot.
NON-GUIDED: If you know how to get to Tower Mountain then you do not need a guide. Those that do not need a guide we suggest that you park in the Strawberry Visitor Center or Strawberry River parking lots. Please plan your own times of arrival with your group and meet up with the rest of the Avalanche Riders at Tower Mountain at noon.
Guided: If you need a guide to get to Tower Mountain you will need to meet at the Chicken Creek / Co-op Parking Lot at 9am. BE READY TO RIDE AT 10am.
During the ride we will all meet at Tower Mountain around lunch time. (bring your own lunch) Craig Gordon with the Utah Avalanche Center will be demonstrating avalanche safety, what to look for, what items to carry with you and how to use them.

So make sure you make it to Tower Mountain at noon for all the action.
