Avalanche Awareness 3.0 - Attraction

We’re excited to have everything coming together for the avalanche ride coming up in a few months. Everyone warm up your snowmobiles and get ready to ride and dine with the crews from Boondockers and Thunderstruck.
Avalanche Awareness 3.0 is created to help all outdoor winter enthusiast understand the caution needed as they venture into the snow covered backcountry. We all love, lets live to love it the rest of our lives. The Avalanche Awareness Event consists of two sub-events, AA Ride 3.0 and AA Auction 3.0. During the ride we meet a couple of miles in where we can enjoy watching Thunderstruck, Boondockers and Craig Gordon. We’ll watch as Craig and other Utah Avalanche Center employees give us tools to recognize avalanche areas, what to look for, how to recognize and even how to test for avalanche. After learning how to avoid avalanches, Craig will touch on some tips on how to survive one.
Once we get filled on Avalanche Awareness we will enjoy some playtime in Utahs “Greatest Snow on Earth”. As we enjoy the snow we can also watch as Dan Gardiner, Geoff “Phatty” Dyer, Rick Barker, Ryan Nelson from Boondockers and Doug Anderson, Wes Little, Travis Hyde, Brad Story from Thunderstruck show us a thing or two as they make some deep powder turns, steep-deep ascents and generally have a good time.
